SkinPen Microneedling is primarily used to treat acne scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, reduced skin elasticity, and uneven skin tone.
It is generally recommended to have follow-up treatments every six weeks after the initial treatment. The results generally last about twelve weeks, but they can vary.
It usually takes about a week for results to appear. Due to the stimulation of collagen and elastin, results will continue to improve after treatment. Results may vary from patient to patient.
You should have little to no recovery or downtime following a Microneedling with SkinPen treatment. On the day of treatment, you may experience mild skin irritation, which will subside in a few days.

Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before + 2 weeks after your microneedling treatment and always remember to wear a sunscreen with SPF 30+!
It’s important to stay hydrated prior to your microneedling treatment. We also recommend avoiding alcohol for 24-48 hrs prior to your appointment.
Stop all topical acids, such as glycolic, alpha or beta hydroxyl acids, retinols, retin-A, or other like products 3-5 days prior to your microneedling treatment.
